Yes!!! It is true. This taste exactly like Chili’s queso dip!I love going to Chilis and getting there queso and your going to laugh when you know exactly what is in it and how simple it is. I took me 5 minutes to make and was perfect for an appetizer or for a Mexican fiesta! Very simple and not very pricey either. The only thing that would make it better would be an actual skillet to but it in to stay extra hot or Chili’s awesome thin hot chips. This would be great to keep in a smaller crock pot also. Enjoy~
Here’s what you’ll need….
1 can of Hormel chili- No beans
16-ounce box Velveeta Cheese
1 C. milk
2 teaspoons paprika
½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ tsp. ground cumin
The Best part of the recipe is that you can throw it all in a pan and let cook or all in a crock pot.
First I put the chili and all the spices in the pan.
Next I added the cheese and lime juice- You can slice up your cheese or cube it to make it melt faster.
Last I added the milk so I could get the thickness that I wanted. I did a little less then 1 cup because I like it to be thicker. Also after it cools it will get thicker as well.
Serve with chips and enjoy!
