Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Sandwiches

If you have never had grilled pineapple you are missing out! Its delicious especially on some yummy grilled teriyaki chicken. This is a great recipe for dinner or if your having a BBQ. Marinate your meat all day for fabulous flavor or just for an hour before cooking. 

Here’s what you’ll need…
3 Chicken breast- sliced in half/ butterflied
1 can of sliced Pineapple- Use the juice from it for the marinade 
3 cups of Teriyaki sauce
1 Tbs of Ground Ginger 
3 Tbs of Brown sugar
Salt and pepper
Garlic salt
Sesame Buns
Lettuce and Tomato for garnish

First slice your chicken in half and pound them down so they are even. Season with S and P.

Marinate your chicken with the Teriyaki sauce, ground ginger, brown sugar, 1 cup of the pineapple juice from the can for up to 1-24 hours.

You can either do this on the grill or I used a George Forman because it was snowing. 

Place Your Pineapple on the grill and cook until they have a great grill mark- 2 mins on each side. Take off and set a side.

Now place your chicken on and grill until cooked through. Browning both sides. 

Butter your buns and sprinkle Garlic salt on top. Place in broiler for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. 

Add your chicken and pineapple on top of buns. Garnish with more Teriyaki sauce, lettuce, and tomato.
