Red Velvet Cake Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cake/ Cupcakes
So my best friend Karly’s boyfriend Jared is Graduating from Tech/mechanic business school. I decided to make his favorite dessert which is red velvet cake! This could be a very hard recipe or you can take a couple short cuts to make it simple and delicious! But don’t skip on the frosting! Cream cheese frosting is the best homemade!
Here’s what you’ll need…
1 package of white cake mix
1 (3.5 ounce) package of non-instant chocolate pudding mix- ( I did sugar free)
Red food coloring- as much as you need to be beautiful red
½ cup of buttermilk
Also the ingredients on the back of the cake box you get
Frosting-
12 oz- powdered sugar
6 oz- cream cheese room temp
1 tsps- Vanilla extract
2 tbs- butter
2 tbs- milk
First pre heat your oven to 350
Prepare your cake mix according to package directions SUBSUTING half of the water called for with the buttermilk. Stir in pudding mix and red food coloring.

Pour mix into cake pan or cupcake pans and bake according to the package box. Or until you smell it! He he
Next will be the frosting- Same frosting that was on my carrot cake recipe-
Mix in a mixer your cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and butter. Mix until creamy and set in fridge until cake has cooled.
Frost your cupcakes!
I also had some extra chocolate bars from Halloween and shaved them with a potato peeler and topped the cupcakes with that!
Yummmmm. Enjoy
