Spinach Cheese Pockets

Perfect Appetizer for a Christmas party or a fun party in general. Very easy to make and of coarse DELICIOUS! I fried them the first time i made them but i think they would be just as good baked in the oven in muffin tins just like my taco bites, still crispy but no oil! ( see Taco Bits for those instructions) Just 4 ingredients!!

Here’s what you’ll need…

1 bag (10 oz) Frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
Large size wonton wrappers
oil for frying or you can bake them in muffin tins like my taco bites
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp of garlic

First un-thaw out your spinach and drain as much of the water as you can.

Next add your cream cheese. ricotta, garlic, and Salt and pepper to a mixer and mix till creamy.

Add in your spinach and mix

Get your wanton wrappers up and add 1= 1/2 tsp of the mixture. Wrap them up together

Place Oil in a big pan and turn on high. Make sure your oil is very hot before adding in the wantons. Cook until golden brown and take out and put on a paper towel to take of a lot of the grease.

YOU CAN ALSO BAKE THESE IN THE OVEN LIKE MY TACO BITES- Place Wontons in a muffin pan! NO FRYING NEEDED!

Serve and eat!

Enjoy
