Cherry Dump Cake

What an easy recipe and so simple to just put together in 5 minutes and bake in the oven! Yes there is only 3 ingredients in this dump cake. No need for eggs, oil, or water!!!! This is also very good with Vanilla ice cream of whipped cream on top of this. I made this in 2 individual pie pans for 2 different events or you can make this in a large baking pan, just like you would for a cake. Your choice!!! I like this better then a cherry cobbler!!!

Here’s what you’ll need…..
2 cans of cherry pie filling
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 sticks of butter- 1 cup
ICE CREAM-Optional

1 9×13 pan or 2 circular pie pans

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.

First you will need to spray your pans. Place the cherry filling first, DUMP the cake mix on top.

Last but not least slice your butter and place right on top of the cake mix. SO simple right!!!

If you are making two separate ”pies” like I did, place 1 can of cherry pie in each pan, separate the cake mix in half, and use 1 stick of butter for each pan.

Bake In the oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. If you did 2 smaller pies then bake for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

Let cool and serve!!! Remember the ice cream or whip cream for a topping. If you want to get real fancy drizzle some chocolate on top!!!!
