Banana Pudding Poke Cake

One of Ryan’s favorite things for dessert is banana pudding. I have made Banana pudding parfaits and a large pan for family dinner before so I need something different but still had the same flavors. I make a Jello poke cake and I figured pudding would be very similar on the way it sets, just quicker. So I decided to make cake out of it for family dinner this week and it was a great success!!! Delicious!

Here’s what you’ll need…
1 (10 oz.) box yellow cake mix
including the ingredients on box (eggs, oil & water)
2 (3.4 oz.) packages instant banana pudding
4 cups of cold milk
1 (8 oz.) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
20 vanilla wafers, crushed
2-3 bananas (optional)

First you need to mix up your cake mix with the three ingredients. Bake it using the directions on the back of the box. Make sure to grease your pan.

Take the cake out when it is done cooking and let cool for 5 minutes. Take a wooden spoon and using the end make hole sin the cake. Make sure you make enough so the pudding really gets down in the cake.
Now mix up your pudding with the milk. When it is still liquid pour of the cake and get in the holes.
Place cake in fridge and let the pudding set for about 10 minutes.
Once the pudding is set place your whipped cream over the cake.
Last but not least crush up your vanilla wafers in a bag and sprinkle on top of the cake.
You may also top with sliced bananas before putting the vanilla wafers on top(optional)
Slice and Enjoy!
