Jalapeno Bacon Poppers

Well these are just amazing! Perfect for a BBQ or party that you are having. Make sure you make a lot because they go fast.

This recipe makes 32 pieces. But you may want to double it!
Here’s what you’ll need….
16 large jalapeno’s
2- 8 oz boxes of regular cream cheese- you can use fat free if you would like
1 cup of shredded cheese- I like cheddar or Colby jack
1 package of bacon- Use your favorite-the thicker the better!
1/2- 1 Tbs of Cayenne pepper

First slice your jalapeno peppers in half and de-seed them. If you have gloves I highly suggest you use them!!! Set them a side in a baking dish for now
Mix your Cream cheese, Shredded Cheese, and Cayenne pepper in a kitchen aid until blended.

Next Place a good helping of cheese mixture into a jalapeno pepper. Set a side until all peppers are filled with cheese mixture.

Now comes the BACON!!!!!!!! I slice all my thick pieces of bacon in half. You can put a whole peace on if you would like, but a half a piece is usually fine. Then secure the bacon with a tooth pick.

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until bacon is crispy- It could use more or less time depending on your oven. I place these in the oven on 375 degrees.

Take them out and cool and serve!Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Enjoy!
