Tostadas

This is one of my favorite go to’s when I want a fast dinner for just Ryan and I or a group of people. This is very easy and very cost effective. I will tell you tho that you need to make homemade re fried beans rather then the can because it taste that much better and its so easy!!!!!. Check out my recipe for the beans here –

The best part of making Tostatdas is that everyone can put what ever they want on them to make them their own. Instead of doing a taco bar for a party- Try a Tostada Bar.
Here’s what you’ll need….
Refried beans- Check out my recipe
1 pound of Ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
Tostada shells from your local grocery store
Topping Options:
Shredded Cheese
Lettuce
Tomato’s
Salsa
Hot Sauce
Sour Cream
Guacamole
Green Onions
First Make your re-fried beans and warm them up.
Place your 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned. Drain fat and add 1/4 cup of water and taco seasoning packet.

Take your Tostada shells and Place on a baking sheet. Warm Tostatda shells in oven on 300 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
Now comes the fun part! Making your best Tostada of your choice.
My favorite Version in this order:
